David Sirota has a must read new article in The Nation scoring former Majority Leader and current Republican hypocrite Newt Gingrich for his comments urging the Republican party to distance itself from the corruption scandal linked to Jack Abramoff. That's interesting because as Sirota points out it was Gingrich who started the "K Street" projects and helped to make Abramoff one of the most powerful lobbyists in town.
